Bourbon has spent much of her young life not knowing what tomorrow would bring. At just 2 years old, she has already experienced the heartbreak of losing her home. But despite all of that uncertainty, Bourbon is still a playful, silly, loving girl who has so much love left to give. ❤️

Now she’s looking for something she’s never had enough of — stability, patience, and a person who will love her exactly as she is.

Bourbon is the kind of girl who wants to be your best friend and your biggest cuddle buddy. She loves her people and would happily spend the day snuggling beside you, soaking up affection, and reminding you that you are, in fact, her favorite human. 🥰

This girl is looking for a quiet home where she can be the Queen of the Castle. 👑 She needs to be the only dog in the home — not because she’s unfriendly, but because she has a hard time understanding how to navigate the energy of other dogs, especially when they are hyper and want to play.

Don't get us wrong… Bourbon can absolutely go for walks and she is very nice when meeting other dogs! She just doesn't quite understand the whole "how do I play with another dog?" thing. 😂 For that reason, a calm, dog-free home where she can relax and focus on her people will be the best fit for this sweet girl.
