Paws & Purpose Rescue

Harvey is a 8 month old Boxer mix boy who is looking for a family with other dogs. He finds the confidence he lacks in the presence of other dogs. He is slow to warm up, but once he does he's a total love bug. This boy has been house trained in his foster home, but may need to learn your routine once he's in a new home.  He walks well on leash and is an amazing buddy! He does need work on resource guarding with food, as many rescues do. So we are looking for an adopter who is willing to do separate feedings and keep food out of his daily routine. We think Harvey would do best in a home with older children or no children due to his lack of confidence. His ideal home would be someone who is patient and loving and willing to put in the work to make Harvey the best boy we know he is.
