Meet Maize,

     Maize came in with Maverick, they landed themselves in the shelter after being surrendered when their owner became ill. They are sad and confused and are leaning on each other for support. We aren't sure if they are completely bonded but we would love for them to go together since thats the only thing in life they have right now, each other. Maize is extremely shy and we are working on that. She looks for her brother every place she goes. Her sad face breaks our heart, but we know there is a loving family waiting to scoop this pair up and let them know that everything is going to be ok.
