Maverick is such a sweet boy who loves attention once he feels safe. He is very shy, especially when meeting new people, and will need a patient family willing to give him the time he needs to build trust.

He is also Maize’s protector and takes his job very seriously.

Maverick loves spending time outside in the yard, walks nicely on a leash, and does great on car rides. He recently enjoyed a fun adventure, even though meeting new people was still a little scary for him.

Maverick may need a little extra time to show you his heart, but once he does, you’ll see just how loving and special he truly is. He is searching for a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe, loved, and finally settle in.

Maverick is two years old and we believe him to be a Great Pyrenees/Australian mix but he’s truly 100% a good boy! He is dog friendly but hasn’t been tested with cats or children. As gentle as he is, I’d say would be kid friendly too!
