Meet Rue Rue is a 2-year-old Texas Heeler with the gentlest soul and the kindest eyes. Life hasn’t always been easy for her—she was left behind by someone she trusted—but you’d never know it from the way she loves. Rue is pure sweetness wrapped in a soft, speckled coat. She’s calm, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. Once she loves you, it’s with her whole heart.  Rue adores other dogs, is wonderfully gentle with cats, and has a way of making everyone around her feel safe and loved. She’s the kind of dog who will rest her head on your lap after a long day, who will quietly follow you from room to room just to be near you.  Now, Rue is waiting for her forever home. She’s searching for her people—the ones who will see how special she is and never let her go. Rue has so much love to give, and she can’t wait to share it with the family she’s been dreaming of.
